Cinis
by
Weisman Stewart Burt
Cinis is a tabletop paper-based dark fantasy role-playing game with a fair bit
of humor ranging from the slightly sick to the simply bizzare. Todd and I put
it together because we were dissatisfied with existing systems, and wanted to
try our own hand; for both of us, this was not the first system we have designed,
and so many of the more common mistakes found in novice systems are (we hope)
absent. Right now there is a bit of rules bloat--we have not yet cut down to the
core essentials that make a great system.
This is not Dungeons & Dragons, nor Rolemaster, nor Ars Magica; we truely
feel it is something new, different, perhaps in a few small ways a good addition
to the bulk of gaming equipment out there. In particular, the character generation
is interesting and the world of Tigmar and magic philosophy are unusual.
Give it a look, give it a try, and give us your responses.

(A very bad) Map of Tigmar
This is what Tigmar used to look like. This map could be helpful to
see how we reconstructed the world.
(A much better) Map of Tigmar
This is how the world looks now. This map is even usable and perhaps
has a smidgen of asthetic value.

These sheets make your life a lot easier. And here is a brief blurb about how to use them.
